This week we had our annual MCS Assessment carried out by the NICEIC.

The NICEIC audit looks over our quality management system and checks our job files before visually inspecting one of our recent Solar Panel Installation Jobs.

While the annual MCS assessment may seem like a stressful affair for us, we pride ourselves on the way we conduct our business both on site and in the office. So we are pleased to announce that we have successfully passed the MCS assessment once again without any remedials or advisories.

Why is MCS required?

Any company who wants to install solar panels and other renewable energy products that feed back into the national grid need to be certified. There are no exceptions for companies big or small. The assessment covers the company, not an individual installer so the fact that we passed once again is a testament to the entire Low Energy Services team rather than one particular individual.

To obtain an MCS Certification we must be able to supply/produce/have:

QMS (Quality Management System)
Up to date client records / Certificates / Documents
Approved Equipment
Training Certificates
Public Liability Insurance
