Working with the Bauder Total Roof System, we are very proud to have worked on the installation of a new solar panel system for The Burrell Collection in Glasgow.

After a substantial refurbishment which included the large solar PV array installed by our Green Energy team at Low Energy Services, The Burrell Collection has now officially re-opened after completing a significant refurbishment. A big part of that refurbishment was ensuring sustainability of the site to improve the buildings energy efficiency and all round green credentials.

New specialist glass that helps keep the cold out and retains heat was installed, low energy lighting was installed and now, thanks to the work from the Low Energy Services team, the building can harness solar energy through the newly installed Solar PV (Photovoltaic) panels. These energy efficient steps will help to ensure that The Burrell Museum is a more environmentally friendly museum that uses greener, renewable energy.
