Businesses Turning to Solar PV to Save Costs

Our client, an operator of a large agricultural facility, was looking to reduce its long-term energy costs and environmental footprint by investing in a renewable energy solution. After a detailed consultation and feasibility study, Low Energy Services was appointed to design and install a solar PV system capable of significantly offsetting the site’s annual energy demand.

The new solar installation is expected to generate approximately 207,895 kWh per year, reducing the client’s reliance on grid-supplied electricity by 22%.

The Solar Installation

The final system comprises 514 high-performance DMEG 445W solar panels, mounted using a Renusol mounting solution – chosen for its durability and compatibility with the building structure. The power generated by the array is managed and converted using Solis inverters, all supplied through our long-standing supply partner, Greentech.

With a total installed capacity of 228kW, the solar system will help the agricultural business obtain a 22% reduction in their site’s reliance on electricity from the national grid – an impactful and measurable result in an industry where energy consumption is high and sustainability is becoming increasingly important.

The installation was carefully planned to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing agricultural operations. Our experienced in-house team managed all aspects of the build, from initial site assessment and design through to commissioning and final testing.

By working closely with our suppliers and internal project teams, we ensured efficient delivery times, seamless component integration and optimal system performance upon completion.
